Triboro plays a show at Jalopy Sunday, May 15th

TRIBORO is a trio that hails from the boroughs of New York, “but looks beyond the Hudson, to other places and other times, for songs and inspiration. They are an acoustic vocal trio that applies fine three-part harmony to an eclectic mix of musical genres.  Hear great old-time, new-time, Carter Family, country, Western, bluegrass and beyond.” They will be at Jalopy on Sunday night, May 15th at 9:30 pm just after guitarists Jon Sholle and Bob Jones.

Triboro at Paddy Reilly’s Friday, December 3rd at 8 pm

Triboro is Phyllis Elkind (Manhattan) on guitar and vocals, Don Friedman (Brooklyn) on guitar, mandolin, banjo and vocals, and Evy Mayer (The Bronx) on ukulele, percussion, and vocals. These guys are great- I saw them at Jalopy not too long ago.  They range from tunes by the Carter Family, Gillian Welch, Bobby Charles, and Bob Wills to Zeke Clements.  Check them out for the recession price of $5 at Paddy Reilly’s in Manhattan, Friday, December 3rd at 8 pm.
